PSB Fron Concert Dec 2006

Concert of Wednesday 6 December 2006 at the Parish Church Oswestry.

Oswestry Parish Church was packed when the Senior Band gave a joint concert with the Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir. This is the third similar event shared with the band and the Fron choir, but by far the best attended. The well deserved national fame of the choir drew a huge audience with individuals travelling from as far away as Coventry for the event.

The audience are to be thanked for the very positive way they responded to the very high demand for seating. With every pew taken, several had to wait a long time outside whilst chairs were found. The performers and the audience brought a very good humour and festive spirit to the concert. The band was conducted by David Thomas and the choir by Ann Atkinson. Two very talented and inspiring musical directors and awe inspiring joint items.
