TV Filming - 1st April 2010

At 8am on a cold Thursday morning, a small group of players from the Senior Band met at Blists Hill Victorian Village, Ironbridge to take part in a TV recording about a victorian pharmacy.

The day started off with everybody trying to squeeze their instruments and bags into an extremly small room. We realised that this wasn't going to work so the Production Assistant, kindly organised a transit van to put all our stuff in.

Once we had warmed up (our instruments, not physically!) we made our way up to the top of a small road ready to start filming. We were then given the instruction to casually walk down to the bottom. This was done about four or five times.

After we had filmed the walking part, we starting the filming with us playing the march Blaze Away. This, again, was done three of four times and we also had a large audience!!

By 10am, we were all finished, packed up and drinking our tea and coffee in a lovely, warm coffee shop!!
