Porthywaen Silver Band

Welcome to Porthywaen Silver Band.

Porthywaen Silver Band is based in the small village of Porthywaen, five miles south of Oswestry, Shropshire. The band was formed in 1934 following the formation of a quartet which played for a local choir and from these modest beginnings, the band has grown both in numbers and musically.
