Busy Time for Band

Porthywaen Silver Band is heading into the festive season with a sell out Brass and Voices Christmas concert featuring the 'pop stars' of the choir world, the Fron Male Voice Choir.

The concert in Holy Trinity Church, Oswestry on Wednesday 2nd December is the traditional festive season opener.

The band will then perform at Christmas Live on Friday 4th December, in Festival Square 7.15pm and at the Christmas Parade on December 5th; a concert at St Mary's Church, Welshpool on Saturday December 12th, plus carols at Moreton Park Garden Centre on December 19th from 12.30om and finally playing carols outside the Sainsbury's store in Oswestry on Monday, December 21st from 6.30pm.

As well as the Senior Band, Porthywaen Youth and Training Band and Porthywaen Beginners' Band will be performing their own Christmas Concert at The Band Hall, Porthywaen on December 11th at 7.30pm.
