The Porthywaen Band Hall
Available to hire for your event
Since 1964 this has been the home of Porthywaen Silver Band. Designed and built by its members.
In 1994 it was updated and extended with a grant from the National Lottery in 2001.
Facilities include the main hall with stage and seating capacity for up to 150 people.
There is a large rehearsal room, a small rehearsal room, kitchen/bar area (no cooking facilities are provided but there is a socket for mobile caterers to plug their equipment into) and on site parking.
There is full disabled access, including to the stage and designated parking.
